The Start, Finally....

The class finally started on the 28 by 40 foot house last week. The first order of business was to set posts in the ground around 4 feet deep. Rocks in the holes seemed to make this very difficult. Once the posts were set, girders had to be built and set on top of the posts. This will be the platform that the house will be built upon. The house will be built in two sections which will allow it to be moved on a trailor down the road. This should be a great project for the class. I am hoping to have the roof on before snow flies.
