It's All Just a Blur

Today we had our traditional "Nail Driving Contest". Each student had to drive four -16 penny nails into a block of wood and then pull the nails out. The student with the fastest time won a new framing hammer. It is always lots of fun and we go through a bunch of nails. We have spent most of the week inside doing mid-term testing and catch-up paper work so it was good to spend a day with a little sport and competition. We did go outside and get the 28x48 house ready for the big storm. Oh yeah, no school on Monday!
