Some like the paint combination, some don't. We'll have to wait and see the completed project before we decide.

Start of Something New

The morning class is working well as a team putting on the rim joist of a new 12x16 foot storage building. 

Santa's Workshop

The workshop is open for business to all good boys and girls. That eliminates about half of my students, Lizzie at the top of the list. 

Still Painting

Well, we had such a good time painting Santa's Workshop that we decided to keep painting. Believe it or not, I had several volunteers. We have two buildings left over from last year that will look sharp all painted up. We also started three new buildings today so things are busy again.

This is Robert just before he touched the ceiling of the Civic Center. Lizzie tried but she was not tall enough.

We swung by the Union Fairgrounds on our way to Augusta just to see how our building was coming. There is still work to do but it is taking shape.

I took the class on a field-trip to the Augusta Civic Center to the Craft Olympics and some of the brave students climbed into the hoister and went to the top of the ceiling. It was a good day.

The Wrecking Crew!

So the students show up today ready to go on an all day field trip but I make them take down Santa's Workshop before they can get on the bus. We took it down in record time.

We finished Santa's Workshop with seconds left on the clock. It will be set up later next week downtown Rockland.

Santa's House

We were asked to build Santa a new house which will sit downtown Rockland for the Holidays. We only have a few days left to work on it and time is running out. What a nice little project.
